Calibration of Eccentric and Segmental Orifices in 4 and 6-In. Pipe Lines

This is a preliminary report of a Subcommittee on Eccentric and Segmental Orifices of the Special Research Committee on Fluid Meters on the Calibration of Eccentric and Segmental Orifices. It describes the method used in calibrating orifices in 4 and 6-in. pipe lines and gives the results of the calibration which are available at this time. This program is only in its early stage and as a result, about 50 per cent of the work has been done.
