An analogue computer was designed, constructed and evaluated whether it is useful to predict dynamic response of turbofan engines or not, as design tool in development of turbofan engine. The computer was evaluated using well-known data of components performance, moment of inertia of rotors, etc., of an existing experimental two spool turbofan engine as input, and comparing the output data with transient performance data of the engine. The computer was proved to be useful to simulate dynamic response or component performance matching characteristics in transient speed condition of turbofan engines.
